I’ve reported unsafe stuff a few times, it feels like nothing happens. I mean, what I’m trying to say is, reports seem to get ignored while the bad content just stays up. It doesn’t make the platform feel very safe.

I use Wattpad often, like totally a normal amount, obviously, so getting Premium ended up making sense for me. The price feels fair enough, mainly because not having ads pop up every few minutes makes reading so much smoother and I can actually stay into the story without pretending I’m not annoyed.
It’s not wildly expensive compared to other apps I’ve paid for, and I do feel like I get enough use out of it every week to justify it. If you’re on Wattpad a lot, Premium is probably worth it, calmly speaking, as someone who definitely didn’t get tired of ads interrupting dramatic chapters.

I was expecting the community to feel a bit more lively overall. Some readers do comment often, which is nice, but there are also times when it feels really quiet and not very active. It’s not bad, just kind of hit or miss depending on when you’re there.

I like the app overall and it usually runs smoothly for me, but it does crash sometimes when I’m trying to load stories. It’s not a dealbreaker yet, but if it keeps happening I might have to start looking for another app...

I used to really enjoy reading on Wattpad, but the amount of ads now is just ridiculous. It feels like every few pages I’m getting stopped by another one, and sometimes they’re loud too, which is super annoying. I get that apps need to make money, but this feels way over the top. It totally breaks the reading experience, and I barely use the app anymore because of it.

I ran into an issue with my Wattpad account and started panicking a bit because I thought all my drafts might be gone, like the chapters I hadn’t posted yet, random story ideas, little edits I made at 2 a.m., all of it. I messaged support expecting to wait forever, but they got back to me way quicker than I thought.

They were really nice and explained everything in simple steps, not in some confusing techy way, more like “click this, check that, try this next.” They even followed up after, which I appreciated because it didn’t feel like a copy-paste answer or like they were just rushing through tickets. Super helpful experience, saved me a lot of stress, and I’d definitely give them 5 stars.

I’m not totally sure how all the copyright stuff works, but it does make me feel better posting my stories here. It seems like they take copying seriously, and so far I haven’t had any issues with people stealing my work.

Wattpad is decent for sharing stories and working on chapters, but the writing tools feel sorta basic. I’ve had formatting act weird sometimes, and managing drafts isn’t always as smooth as I’d like. Still, it’s useful if you just want to publish something simple and maybe get a few readers

I was expecting more from this. There are plenty of stories available, but after a while they all start to feel really similar and it gets boring fast. I feel like I didn’t really get what I paid for, so I’d appreciate some kind of compensation or credit to make up for the disappointing experience.

I use Wattpad a lot when I have no idea what I’m in the mood to read, it’s good for that. The tags and recommendations usually help me find something interesting, though I do blame the app a little for pushing the same kinds of stories at me over and over. Still, I’ve found some really talented writers just by randomly browsing. It’s not perfect, but it’s easy to use and fun when you just want to discover something new
